“Talking to the Moon” is such an Organic Creation!
I was hired to do a live painting in Denver Colorado. I wanted to figure out what I wanted to paint on the spot. I had no idea, no plan. I just started painting. I didn’t finish it during my live painting but once I got home I took a deep reflection about what I just did. I WAS LIVE PAINTING IN DENVER!! living my artist dream! Doing what I love in a big city! It was such a moment, I have stayed up late at night thinking about. Praying for the chance to express myself for a living. And here I was doing exactly that! I think So many times we forget to stop and appreciate where we are. We are always looking to what’s next and bigger and better. But the spot you are at right now, someone is wishing to be there. So take a second. To ground yourself. Think about how far you have come. And show gratitude for the stage you are in. It’s a beautiful stage. It’s a necessary stage. And you are right exactly where you are supposed to be.
